“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23We all have sinned. Not just you but even me and other Christians. Sin separates us from God and grieves Him (Gen. 6:6). Sin is a part of our human nature unfortunately and is the cause of all the bad things we see in our world right now. Originally, humans weren’t even created to sin! Sin was NEVER a part of God’s original plan for us humans. Have you heard of Adam and Eve in the Bible? They were the first humans on the Earth (as well as the first to sin) when they disobeyed God and ate the fruit. After that, everything else went downhill 😅. Needless to say sin was a problem that needed to be solved.

“And the wages of sin is death.” - Romans 6:23
After Adam and Eve ate the fruit (😠), sin entered the world. Sin is expensive! Not in a monetary since, but in a spiritual sense. Sin ultimately leads to spiritual death (being apart from God) and a physical death. God takes sin very seriously and your sins (actions) DO have consequences.

“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8“So we are all sinners and we are going to pay the price with death. Right?” Wrong! There is still hope! Remember how I mentioned that sin grieves God? It makes Him sad and upset. Throughout the Bible people would make burnt offerings and sacrifices to God when they sinned…just to go back and sin again! You don’t have to be a Christian to know and understand that we constantly sin and mess up, even when we don’t mean to. It’s a part of our flawed human nature. God noticed this and had compassion on us. He understood that we would never be perfect enough to pay the wages of sin off. So He sent us His own and only son (Jesus) as a final sacrifice, to pay the debt of our own sin, and to save us from death.

“And the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 6:23🎐Not only was Jesus sent to save us from our sins, He died for us so that we didn’t have to die. By Jesus dying for us, we could live and have life. The consequences of sin is death (Rom. 3:23) BUT since Jesus died for us, it doesn’t have to be that way. Through Jesus we can still be right with God despite our sin that used to separate us from Him. God gave us another chance by allowing Jesus to die for our sins. This is known as “salvation.” Not only did Jesus die for us, but in 3 days, He rose and came back to life, showing us that He’d conquered death! By receiving salvation, even if we die on Earth, we will be able to live in afterwards in heaven, rather than dying and going to hell.🫐HOW CAN I BECOME SAVED?🍌💗”That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” - Romans 10:9💗-> By confessing Jesus is Lord and believing that He died for your sins and was raised from the dead you can be saved too! You can do this by praying and telling Jesus that you want to invite Him into your heart, your life, and letting Him know that you believe He was raised from the dead is a good starting point! Confessing your sins and repenting (turning away) from them is also a part of this confession.Note: confession alone doesn’t save you but BELIEVING in your heart that you are saved. Your beliefs should reflect in your actions (turning away from sin and living a life that glorifies God!)I’ll add some helpful links at the end for more clarification so no worries! <3
🍋🥝WHO CAN BE SAVED? 🍇
Anyone and everyone can! God does not care who you are and what you have done; He wants all of us to be saved and to be reunited with Him and Jesus in heaven.
‼️Lastly, the salvation that God gives us is a CHOICE. God doesn’t force Himself upon us. He loves us enough to give us freewill even if it hurts Him to see us stray, or apart from Him. God wants us all to live and to be in heaven, but He gives us a choice.thank you for reading if you did! I love you all and if you have any questions or need prayer, I’ll be happy to answer you and to pray!
